Growing up in King County, I graduated from Shorecrest High School & worked at the family owned Burgermaster. I married my high school sweetheart & began my career in the banking industry.
I worked my way up from Bank Teller to Branch Operations Supervisor at a small community bank. It was here that I discovered my passion for navigating clients through the mortgage & home buying process. My favorite part was helping them determine the best long & short term mortgage option for their situation.
After many years in the banking industry; we moved to Snohomish to raise our family. We fell in love with Snohomish because of the small home town atmosphere & tremendous community spirit. Although we lived on acreage, we still felt as if we were part of tight knit neighborhood. While raising the kids, I became very involved within the educational system & volunteered anytime an opportunity arose.
Once my youngest started school, I felt I was ready to begin the next phase of my career. Real Estate felt like the right choice. I was somewhat familiar with the industry & knew quite a few people already in the business who urged me to get my Real Estate Broker License.
As a seasoned multi-tasker, I took to Real Estate quickly. My knowledge of the lending business helped me to navigate my clients through the process on a realistic & honest beginning that would lead to a smooth & happy closing.
There is nothing more gratifying than my clients. Whether it be the thrill and adventure of finding the perfect home and becoming a homeowner or selling a home & experiencing the next chapter in life. It can become difficult at times when you think you have made a connection with a client but they choose someone else for whatever reason but I still come out ahead by meeting new people and learning about their story. I have come to realize the best part of this job is the personal connections I get to make.
